Checklist of what to have ready

• Two upright chairs
• A small table to place the instruments
• A pillow covered in a plastic bag with a pillow case over the top
• Another pillow
• 4 disposable nappies
• baby wipes
• a tub of Vaseline
• an unopened bottle of kosher wine
• a becher (Kiddush cup)
• a small waste paper basket lined with a plastic bag
• freshly made sugar solution: 1/4 of a 250 ml baby's bottle of cooled boiled water mixed with one teaspoon of sugar
• Medinol or Calpol infant paracetamol suspension
• 5 packets of gauze swabs (each packet contains five 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm swabs)
